
Q'shintul/Mill Bay Nature School’s adolescent Clan - Qwiqwul tst tse - "Let's Talk" - has youth at its centre - each are held & supported by a village of caring adults. It is experiential & place based - immersed in respectful exploration of the Cowichan Valley. It LIVES the B.C. Curriculum particularly focusing upon the development of learner competencies. It is guided by Hul q’ uminum elders & knowledge keepers, and seeks to live in ever-more decolonized ways. It offers high support, high expectations, and restorative justice practices.
