Mill Bay Nature School's Blended Clan will provide a variety learning opportunities (online provocations, individual face-to-face interactions, field studies, and a smorgasbord of learning choices onsite at our Cobble Hill five-acre campus situated on the beautiful, traditional territory of the Hulq'umi'num' speaking Peoples). It is designed for children and youth - ages 6 to 13 - rooted in the philosophy & pedagogy outlined in the Field Guide of Mill Bay Nature School. Working with families, our Blended Clan provides children and youth the opportunity to learn both at home and at school - individually, in small groups, in large groups.
Began in September 2020, the Blended Clan supported families affected by COVID. We are now in the process of adapting this Clan option to meet shifting needs in our community.
