Nature/Land Based Learning
Taking our learning onto the land allows for deep rooted connection to our place and community. Students walk with gentle feet and mindful bodies in order to build their knowledge of concepts in a hands-on, ecological minded way. Arbutus Pod also took a trip to Goldstream to explore the ecosystem with one of our Knowledge Keepers. They observed the salmon run and journaled about their findings.
